About

"I create nothing into something"

Hi & Welcome! I'm Bridgette, but my husband (Travis) calls me 'little artista lady.' And that is exactly what I am. I am little (only 5'2), I am a lady and most importantly, I am an artist. One of Travis' favorite things about me is how I can create nothing into something. And it's because I love to create! It doesn't matter exactly what I am creating, just as long as I am. I can look at the ceiling and create shapes and forms with the texture. I can take a napkin and turn it into a beautiful flower. I can take scrappy wire and turn it into a fine piece of art. Etc. It's as if every wit of my being pulses with a vibrant creative energy demanding that I create something, anything! That is why I exist. Is to create. And I want to bring you along on my daily artistic journey where I grow as an artist, where I write and learn about myself as an artist and where I learn and am inspired by other artists who simply live to create, no matter what medium of art it may be.

Thanks for stopping by!

A little more about me:
I graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Graphic Design. I recently opened up my own business selling paintings and quirky illustrations (http://www.etsy.com/shop/confettielove). I love nature and being in the outdoors.  I love to travel, bake, read and surround myself with family and friends. And most of all, I am in love with the most amazing person that I know, Travis.

A little more about Travis:
Travis graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology with an emphasis in Statistical Research about a year ago. He now works as a statistician at a market research firm (RRC Associates) in Boulder, CO. Travis loves the outdoors and has a very strong connection with nature. He is adventurous, kind, compassionate and just a big goof ball. He makes me smile, laugh, cry (in a good way) and has turned me into somebody loved. Basically, he's the best! :)

A little more about Us:
Travis and I met at BYU-I while attending the University. We dated a year and were married September 4, 2010 in Idaho Falls, ID. We just recently moved to Denver, CO and are loving it! We love to be in the outdoors and just recently saw a mama bear and it's cub 70 ft. in front of us while hiking in the Colorado Mountains. We ran for our lives! We recently returned from El Salvador, doing volunteer work at the Hogar Padre Vito Guarto Orphanage. We loved it there and miss it terribly, and hope to go back again someday soon! We enjoy life and try to make the most of it each and every day!
